Quilven case study: SEO for a US medical billing company
Quilven runs the billing department for US medical practices. In the 60 days after we restarted work on its website, visits from Google in the US went from 5 to 43. Then, in 10 days in October, three practices asked for an audit or a quote.

The client
Quilven is a revenue cycle management company. It runs billing, coding, denials, AR recovery, prior authorisation and credentialing for independent specialty practices in the US. It’s paid a share of what it collects.
Its buyers are practice owners and managers. They search Google for help with a billing problem, a payer rule or a code, often long before they look for a billing company.
Raief, Quilven’s owner, has worked with Essa for 2.5 years, on SEO for several of his businesses and on Google Ads. We worked on Quilven’s site from April 2026, paused for a while, and restarted on 24 August.
“He’s an incredibly talented and knowledgeable individual, not only in SEO but in various fields. … He has constantly delivered phenomenal outputs.”
What we did
The same approach we use for Leads Ireland, built for medical practices instead of local customers.
- A page for each specialty13 pages, from cardiology and dermatology to podiatry and general surgery. Each one covers how that specialty bills and where its money gets stuck.
- Free tools that billers use19 tools, like a lesion excision code finder, a global period checker and a timely filing countdown. A biller who uses one today may need Quilven next month.
- Blog posts that answer real billing questions13 posts, such as unpaid TRICARE claims, the BCBS Wyoming timely filing limit, and how much old AR can still be collected.
- Pages for problems, not just services“Our biller just quit”, “Why is our AR over 90 days climbing?” and three more, written for the moment a practice starts looking for help. We write SEO content for Irish businesses the same way.
- Location pages7 AR recovery pages for places Quilven serves, such as Wyoming, Texas, Colorado and Tennessee.
- A clear offer and a short formA free 48-hour billing audit, and the price on the homepage (3 to 5% of what Quilven collects, with a $500 monthly minimum). Plus a form that asks for the specialty, number of providers, EHR and AR over 90 days, and no patient data.
Where the growth came from
Most of the new visibility came from pages that weren’t showing on Google before the restart. The homepage stayed about level.
| Type of page | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Specialty pages | 569 | 3,084 |
| Free tools | 0 | 877 |
| Blog posts | 0 | 872 |
| Services, pricing and other pages | 104 | 1,050 |
| Location pages | 0 | 55 |
| Homepage | 464 | 345 |
Search Console counts these page by page, so they add up to more than the totals above.
Searches where Quilven now shows on page one

Showing up in Google’s AI answers
Search Console now reports how often a site appears in Google’s AI features. For Quilven, that went from 110 times to 777 in the same 60 days. The pages Google used most were the dermatology page, the homepage, the lesion excision code finder and the post on unpaid TRICARE claims.
Quilven also ranks near the top for long, question-style searches, the kind people type into AI Mode:
What it brought in
Three requests through Quilven’s website in 10 days in October. Personal details hidden.
-
$50k+lead
Credentialing quote request
12 October 2026

-
$100k+lead
Aged AR audit request
19 October 2026

-
$100k+lead
AR recovery audit request
22 October 2026

The $50k+ figure is what the practice told Quilven. The two $100k+ leads are practices with $250k to $1M, and over $1M, in claims over 90 days, as shown on the forms. That figure is the fee Quilven would earn as its share of what it recovers.
What we’re working on next
- Getting more pages into GoogleGoogle has indexed 81 of the addresses it knows on Quilven’s site. Many of the rest are old or duplicate versions of pages, like /speciality/ next to /specialty/. Those need redirects, and every page needs to show Google its full content. That is the technical SEO side of the job.
- Moving the specialty pages onto page oneThey show up a lot, but mostly on page two or lower. Dermatology averages position 13 and cardiology 36. Those are the searches practices use when they’re ready to switch.
- Turning more views into visitsIn the US, about 1 in 100 people who saw Quilven on Google clicked. Better titles and descriptions, and higher positions, should lift that.
How we measured this
All the numbers come from Google Search Console for quilven.com. The site was added to Search Console on 19 April 2026, so there’s no data before that. We compare the 60 days before the restart (25 June to 23 August 2026) with the 60 days after (24 August to 22 October 2026).
Visits are clicks from Google Search. We count US visits only, because Quilven’s clients are US practices and some clicks from elsewhere are likely Quilven’s own team. Across all countries, visits went from 26 to 68. Positions are Google’s averages. The AI figures come from Search Console’s report on generative AI features, which is still in beta.
The leads are form notifications from Quilven’s website, with personal details covered. Raief agreed to us sharing all of this.
Questions people ask
Something else on your mind? Email info@leadsireland.com.
Do you work with businesses outside Ireland?
Yes. Quilven is in the US, and we’ve worked with Raief’s businesses for 2.5 years. SEO is done online, so where you’re based matters less than knowing how your customers search. We reply within one working day.
How long did it take to see results?
Within two weeks of the restart, Quilven was showing up on Google several times as often as before. Visits picked up from late September, and the first of the three requests came in on 12 October. Every site is different, and an established site usually moves faster than a new one.
Would you use the same approach for my business?
The same parts, sized to your business. That’s a page for each service and place you want work from, and useful free tools or guides. Plus a clear offer and a short form. For a plumber in one town, that’s a handful of pages. For a company selling across the US, like Quilven, it’s dozens. Get a free audit and we’ll tell you what yours needs.
